Technocrat Legal, together with Artyushenko & Partners, conducted a series of specialised training sessions in Tajikistan for the project team of the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant. The sessions focused on the practical application of FIDIC contracts in large-scale hydropower construction, including contract administration, claims management, and dispute avoidance.
Once completed, the Rogun Dam will reach 335 metres in height, making it the tallest dam in the world, with an installed capacity of 3,600 MW — the largest hydroelectric power station in Central Asia. Construction is currently in progress around the clock, with more than 8,000 personnel engaged on site, and project delivery is administered under FIDIC contracts.

On 25 April 2025, Technocrat Legal, together with Artyushenko & Partners and KNAPEC, launched a joint online course on FIDIC contracts. The programme is delivered by Andrey Artyushenko (FIDIC Certified Trainer), Karen Arustamyan (FIDIC Certified Contract Manager), and Kirill Lonovenko (FIDIC Certified Contract and Procurement Manager, FIDIC-FLMC). The course covers the Red, Yellow, and White FIDIC Books, tender procedures, risk allocation, and financial obligations, and is accredited with an official FIDIC certificate issued in Switzerland. Format: online lectures, live sessions, assignments, and testing.

Technocrat Legal joined a coordination meeting at the ACBA Bank Headquarters construction site in December 2024, together with representatives of ACBA Federation (Client), RENCO S.p.A. (Contractor, Italy), and CMC International (Engineer, Georgia). The meeting reviewed current design packages, open technical and contractual matters, and the programme for upcoming works.

On 29 April 2023, Technocrat Legal hosted a professional networking session in Dilijan, Armenia, under the theme “Practice with FIDIC Construction Contracts — Experience in Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan.” The event brought together colleagues from Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan for expert sessions on FIDIC EPC contracts, procurement procedures, and comparative regional experience.

The ACBA Bank Headquarters in Yerevan has been awarded LEED v4 Silver Precertification (Building Design and Construction: New Construction and Major Renovations) by the U.S. Green Building Council. Technocrat Legal supported the Client in integrating LEED compliance obligations into the project’s procurement and contract framework from the outset.

Technocrat Legal has been formally engaged by ACBA Federation to provide legal and contract support for the new ACBA Bank Headquarters project in Yerevan. Our mandate covers international tendering, contractor and engineer selection, and full FIDIC contract administration through to handover.

On 1 October 2021, Karen Arustamyan took part in a professional webinar on the application of FIDIC contracts in the construction sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan, hosted by Artyushenko & Partners. Moderated by Andrey Artyushenko, Managing Partner of Artyushenko & Partners and a construction lawyer with over 20 years of industry experience (13+ years in FIDIC), the session addressed the practical use of FIDIC forms in Kazakhstan’s construction market. Karen Arustamyan contributed as a practising contract manager with more than 10 years of experience in construction and FIDIC contract administration.
